Blogosphere changes political climate

In the FT yesterday with the title, "Blog inspired movement spawns new breed of amateur agitators calling for electoral reform".

According to the piece, the blog has led to a change in attitudes among young voters in Kuwait who, through the blog, are exposed to the system's corruption (one post videos a voter pledging to honour the bribe she had received) and are mobilised to collective action.

One of the contributors comments, "What was happenning made us frustrated. When we brought this to people they got frustrated too".

Yet another important example of the power and significance of social media.
