Mitch Kapor speaks at SL 2006

Really interesting introductory speech by Mitch Kapor, founder of Lotus. Mitch is principal investor in SL. What really resonated was his desire for the platform to be developed by the users. He sees the role of Linden being to facilitate user development of the space. He was also very aware of the need for SL to grow with the help of big business investment in the space. As an expensive project, he sees this revenue as necessary for SL to reach its potential.

[Additional] Full speech transcribed here thanks to 3pointD.
