Report a driver

Another interesting social media experiment. Better Driving Please allows any upstanding citizen to submit reports documenting other road users' driving.

Submitted by Blonde 29 in reference to X583XFM.

"I was driving along the M58 at 64MPH. I noticed this Rover 200 on the hard shoulder at stand still. The vehicle then pulled away, but didn't build up speed, just pulled out from 0 MPH onto the motorway!! It was very nearly disastrous."

Indeed. The site allows users to search for incidents flagged red, amber and green. The green ones are pats on the back for careful and vigilant helmsmanship - the reds are for white van men and other nutters.

Already 600 members and nearly 200 reports to date. Needless to say, the pistonheads forums are not exactly behind the idea.

Comments

Just searched myself on the db and fortunately nothing so far. Lets wait and try again in 6 months :D

There is a site with exact concept: reportdangerousdrivers.com
