As your social media presence builds taking in more and more venues and services, staying on top can be a bit of an issue. Especially as you start having to be selective with where you put things or spend hours syndicating the same content. There are tools designed to combat this, updating multiple venues in one go, Pikchur is one of the latest.

As you can probably tell from the name, Pikchur gets your images on up to eight separate services including Facebook, Friendfeed, Twitter and Tumblr. This can be done by MMS, email or uploading, making it waffley versatile, something everyone loves.

Mashable is also suggesting that Pikchur will soon be able pull in previously taken piccies from other sites and redistribute them, something it currently lacks. And as they go on to say this will give it an edge beyond merely making sending out photos while on the go a “brainless task”. I think that is maybe better than they give it credit for, hands up for awkwardly tedious tasks being made brainless ones instead.
