Touched by an analogy
Social media devotee, Chris Brogan, recently discussed and demystified the idea of having to ‘touch’ every conversation. To do so would take some serious spread, existing in multiple versions of certain types of scapes. We’re basically talking every venue under the cyber-sun.
Doing some great analogy work, Chris sums up by questioning himself on the idea of being omnipresent in social networking, “is the goal to fish where your fish are, to do what you plan to do, and to do it well?”
When considered, his point is arguably obvious (and already being practiced by many), but then I guess that’s the beauty of good analogy.
