Can't buy me love

Via Olivier Blanchard's Twitterfeed. A couple of really smart comments from Valerie Maltoni. One I liked best was:

"People don't need your communication to have a conversation."

Indeed. Advocacy has to be built, nurtured and sustained. Brands don't appear in social interaction in the same way their ads appear on webpage headers or bus stops - not by doing things the right way anyhow. There's no inalienable right to conversation share. It has to be inspired...
